![]() I'm not sure how to boot it back up so that it went back to before I disabled the display drive. I can hear that my PC has booted up but I cannot see anything. : To clarify, disabling the HD 4600 made my display shut off. Refer to your motherboard manual if you have some trouble finding this option. select disabled on this option save and reboot. If you have to do it manually then you go in the bios and in "integrated peripherals" you should have IGP or integrated graphic, display. If not, go to device manager and disable it under display adapters, but it should be turned off in the bios automatically when you put in the GPU, like I said. Check that all connectors are firmly connected to the card. When your GPU is installed your computer should automatically disable the integrated graphics. In that case, I'd rather have the AMD over the Intel Graphics any day. So, basically, I'm just wondering if there is a way to have that or just one or the other. The drivers are all updated so it's not that problem. I'm really wanting to be able to use my AMD to play games and have my intel for just average web browsing but I don't want to disable the Intel via Device Manager in case something goes wrong. I'm pretty sure that they're meant to swap when I booted up games and such, but it doesn't. When I checked with MSI Afterburner to see if the GPU was in use, every time it was the intel instead of the AMD. But, when it came to the newer games like Thief and Far Cry 3, I got crappy frames. I've read that it's mostly laptops that have the hybrid graphics systems as such but I haven't really figured having it in a desktop was an issue since I played most games on medium-high-ish quality with pretty decent frames. So, I bought a new computer a while ago (I think back in February?) and the way that it was assembled it has an Intel HD Graphics 4600 as well as an AMD Radeon R9 200 series graphics card installed.
